Location Information:
The City of Greenbelt is situated in
northern Prince George's County,
approximately 12 miles northeast of
Washington D.C., 26 miles southwest
of Baltimore, and 22 miles west of
Annapolis. It is at the crossroads
of the Washington Beltway (Rte 495),
Baltimore Washington Parkway (Rte
295), Greenbelt Road (Rte 193) and
Kenilworth Avenue, (Rte 201).
Start/Finish: All loops
start and finish at the Greenbelt
Community Center in historic
Greenbelt.

Ribbon Ride go to Y-ME of the
National Capital Area (www.Y-ME.org/nationalcapitalarea).
Y-ME provides a 24-hour Hotline and
offers peer counseling for breast
cancer patients. Y-ME also educates
members of the community about
breast cancer prevention and
detection through workshops and
seminars.
FREE Safety Bicycle Check-ups at
Proteus Bicycles of College Park and
A & M Cycle Shop in Old Bowie to
all registered riders two weeks
prior to the ride.
Lots of prizes for registered riders, including
FREE use of HUMMER for weekend of their choice.
Description of Routes:
WB&A Railroad Trail Ride -
40-mile Pink Route
Cycle through the Beltsville Agricultural Research Center,
Patuxent Research Refuge, Old Bowie, across
the WB&A Trail, and make an optional visit to the
historic Marietta Mansion.
Patuxent Wildlife Ride - 20 Mile Blue Route
Enjoy the fields of the Beltsville Agricultural Research
Center and the scenery of the Patuxent Research Refuge.
Agricultural Center Ride - 10 Mile Yellow Route
See the fields and animals of the Beltsville
Agricultural Research Center. Enjoy the calm of the
country in the middle of suburbia!
Greenbelt Lake Family Fun Ride - 2 Mile White
Route (Walkers are welcome, too!) See ducks, geese,
even beavers and blue heron as you ride or walk around
beautiful Greenbelt Lake.
Directions to the Greenbelt Community Center
From 495 North: Exit 22A (Baltimore) onto the
B/W Parkway, take the first exit (193 GREENBELT-NASA
GODDARD), and turn right onto Southway Road. At the
second stop sign, make a left unto Crescent Road.
Continue straight on Crescent Road to the first stop
sign and make a right onto Library Driveway. The
Greenbelt Community Center is the large white building
to your right.
From 495 South: Exit 22A (Baltimore) onto the
B/W Parkway, (go straight towards Baltimore), then take
the first exit (193 GREENBELT-NASA GODDARD), and turn
right onto Southway Road. At the second stop sign, make
a left onto Crescent Road. Continue straight on Crescent
Road to the first stop sign and make a right onto
Library Driveway. The Greenbelt Community Center is the
large white building to your right.
From the BW Parkway. Take the 193
Greenbelt/NASA exit. Turn right onto Southway. Follow
the signs to the Greenbelt Community Center.
From Greenbelt Metro Station: Take exit
S95/495 via Cherrywood Ln. Turn right at Cherrywood
exit, turn left onto Cherrywood Ln. Turn right on Ivy
Lane. Turn right on Edmonston Rd (Kenilworth extended).
Turn Left onto Crescent Rd. After about 1 mile, turn
right at either the 2nd or 3rd stop sign into the
municipal parking lots.
Please park in the municipal lots at the Community
Center, 15 Crescent Rd., the Municipal Center, 25
Crescent Rd. and the Aquatic Center 101 Centerway or
behind the Roosevelt Mall stores.
