Bike4BreastCancer has announced the route for its 2003 cross-country ride to support breast cancer research. Riders will commence in Los Angeles, CA on July 11, 2003. Following stops in California, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Tennessee, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, and Virginia, the riders will conclude in Baltimore, MD on August 24, 2003. The thirty riders – 15 of whom will be actual breast cancer survivors – will ride tandem bicycles across the United States to raise both money and awareness of breast cancer.

National and local sponsorships are available. Organizers of the event hope to raise over $1 million, which will be distributed via grants to breast cancer research organizations.
